Marta Ayala Minero – In La’kech

In Lake'ch - A Mayan's Code of Honor | 2001 | Mission & 23rd Street

In Lake'ch is a Mayan term of greeting, meaning, "I am another yourself." The mural shows images from the natural world and Mayan religious icons. Note: This mural was defaced by taggers during Summer 2020. It has since been repainted, however the design is a little different than shown in these photos.
